Tidung Island

History of Tidung taken from the name of the place that exist in rural areas of East Kalimantan Malinau that is "Tana Tidung". Took the name tidung, because it's gives from the king of Tidung are expelled by the Dutch colonial. The name of the king is Pandita. After being expelled from the land, Pandita King of Tidung wandered up to Jepara. He moved to end up on an island that we know as Tidung Island. 

The Hundred communities of Tidung, no one who knows that the king Pandita was a king of East Kalimantan because during his layover in Tidung he never brings his title as a king. He simply known as the "glass". Until death of glass was known simply as ordinary people are not different from other communities. 

Tourism Object : 

Do you ever heard The Bridge Of Love ? surely you think it is outside from our country, aha you make mistake :) you don't need to go far and expensive to be able. Bridge of love is an attraction in itself for this one tourist area. 

activities that i've done in Tidung Island are :

• Walking, i can walk on the bridge of love towards small Tidung while seeing the sights under the sea such as coral and fish, small fish that are on the side of the bridge who made from wood. 
• Cycling, it only $2. i am able to cycle around the island. Tidung is so beautiful and natural because there are no cars around this island. The atmosphere of Tidung Island very different from the Urban atmosphere of Jakarta. 
• Banana boat and canoe, i can enjoy a game water on this one. because the shallow beaches and clean water, beaches around the Tidung Island are safe alternative tourist spot with family, friend, or children.

Facilities on the island have also been developed, it is proved by the stalls around the relatively low around $1 in one serving food provided by local residents. In Tidung Island also have homestay style accommodation, with a choice of AC or non-AC rooms, though not class hotel or resort accommodations available but clean enough, or you want to try other alternatives to the edge of the beach for overnight camping.

I go to there with my friends, we've holiday and choose that place. i buy some accessories such as necklace and ring, buy clothes, buy t-shirt an etc. we eat some seafood and it's very delicious. yummy.. i want to eat all of them.
